Arundel Center Exhibit
Wednesday, 02 May 2012 15:10 The Anne Arundel County Commission on Disability Issues announced 21 county artists with disabilities who will display their work in the commission’s first art show. The featured artists range in age from school children to older adults. The exhibit gives these artists who struggle with various disabilities a chance to showcase their talents in a highly visible, respected way. The artists who will feature in the exhibit include Eddie Harris of Pasadena, Jonathan Kenner of Gambrills,Ashleigh Streiff and Elizabeth Johnson of Severna Park, and over 15 others. Three judges from the county arts council selected artwork for the exhibit from artists with disabilities of all ages, from all over the county, who were encouraged to participate. The 2012 Artists With Disabilities Art Exhibit runs through June 15 at the Arundel Center in Annapolis. Bookmark
